The strategy encouraged tagging, sharing, and personal connections while promoting sustainable gifting and cross-brand prize bundles through influencer partnerships.

For America Recycles Day, Love Beauty and Planet partnered with The New York Times to inspire sustainable living. The campaign shared eye-opening stats on the climate crisis and simple steps to reduce waste, including tips that feature Love Beauty and Planet. Timed just before Thanksgiving and Black Friday, the program highlighted proper recycling and set the stage for the brand’s holiday waste awareness campaign.

Presentation is everything, especially for holiday gifting. We teamed up with wrapping expert Karen Whitten to share sustainable wrapping hacks, amplified on social to create a standout brand moment. This series highlights creative inspiration and tips for adding an eco-friendly touch of sparkle.

Love Beauty and Planet aimed to highlight the 25% increase in holiday waste, particularly from packaging and paper. The team addressed this by creating a twofold solution: running a New York Times ad that also served as recyclable wrapping paper, encouraging readers and customers to rethink holiday waste. The Sunday edition was chosen for its broad physical readership and as a symbol of tangible credibility in a digital world.

To generate buzz and secure earned media before LBP’s NYT ad launch, the brand rolled out a mini awareness campaign featuring in-feed and story posts, offering sneak peeks and unveiling the final wrapping paper design.
