WORLD OCEAN’S DAY

World Oceans Day, celebrated on June 8th each year, inspires and connects people worldwide to protect
and restore the ocean. Love Beauty and Planet has decided to join the movement by launching a new product
line created with ocean-bound plastic, partnering with the Surfrider Foundation, and by donations that
will go towards protecting our oceans.

 

Video Production: in collaboration with the New York Times T Brand Studio

Love Beauty and Planet’s social campaign aimed to mobilize our audience to take part in our efforts to combat plastic pollution and drive traffic to our Surfrider beach cleanups. The series of surreal imagery depicts the very real problem we face — plastic in our oceans and water supply.

Love Beauty and Planet and their sister brand, Love Home and Planet, partnered with the Surfrider Foundation
to sponsor 26 beach clean-ups and donate $250,000 back towards protecting our oceans.

Go See illustrates activities and adventures that are better seen in full clarity.
The three-dimensional cut-paper illustrations are playful, arresting, and tap into both markets.
Japanese Kawaii culture and the growing trend of paper art in America influenced the art direction and design.
This medium has done a beautiful job in portraying how life is visually enhanced with RevitaLens.
